Asia Cup 2023: Tickets for Sri Lanka leg to go on sale on August 17
Tickets for the Sri Lanka leg of Asia Cup 2023 will be available from August 17. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made the announcement through a media release on Wednesday night.
The availability of tickets can be accessed at pcb.bookme.pk. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) are set to announce the news via their official social media platforms.
The tickets for the first phase of the Sri Lanka leg of the Asia Cup will be available from 12:30 pm IST on August 17. The second wave of ticket sales for the matches to be held in Sri Lanka is scheduled to start at 7:00 pm IST on 17 August.
This phase will include the highly anticipated match to be contested between Pakistan and India on 2 September at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
Out of the many matches to be played, nine matches will be staged in Sri Lanka, encompassing the final as well. The Sri Lanka leg of the tourney is slated to commence with the home team playing against Bangladesh in Pallekele on 31 August.
Only recently, the sale of tickets for the upcoming Asia Cup matches to be held in Pakistan commenced. The competition is all set to kick off in Multan where the home team, Pakistan, will face Nepal on 30 August.
As per the PCB, one can purchase up to four tickets on one identity card/passport. But for the match between India and Pakistan, up to two wickets may be purchased on one identity card/passport.
