Delhi’s popular bookstore-cum-cafe, Full Circle & Cafe Turtle is back again to satiate every book lover’s desire with a cup of freshly-brewed coffee and some great books to read. After pulling down its shutters in June 2020 amidst the uncertainties of Coronavirus crisis, the book cafe in Khan Market reopened its doors for the customers on February 5, just by the side of its original location. They took to their Instagram handle to announce the news and wrote alongside, “We are so happy to be back home, Khan Market! We look forward to welcoming you at your favourite place.”

Priyanka Malhotra, director of Cafe Turtle, shared the exciting news with NDTV Food and stated, “We are elated to be back. Khan Market has been home for Full Circle and Cafe Turtle for two decades. We have received overwhelming support from our patrons and well-wishers. We had a footfall of close to 100 visitors on our opening on February 5 (Friday).”

“We have moved next door, from shop no. 23 to shop no. 24. Cafe Turtle has had fully booked tables and long lines of people waiting. It is heartening to witness the special place we have with people visiting us,” she further shared.

Cafe Turtle was founded 20 years ago in the heart of the national capital – the vibrant Khan Market. The bookstore has thousands of books and some delicious teas, coffees, milkshakes and snacks. Adding to its regular menu, the revamped Cafe Turtle has a range of new cakes, signature pizzas and cocktail platters to offer, informed Priyanka.

Elated with the news, thousands of book lovers showered their love and wishes on social media. While some wrote “delighted by the news”, others commented, “can’t wait to visit.”
