Exclusive! Karnataka’s Sini Shetty crowned Femina Miss India World 2022 – Beauty Pageants – Indiatimes

Following a suspenseful battle, Karnataka’s Sini Shetty was crowned Femina Miss India World 2020, Rajasthan’s Rubal Shekhawat was declared Femina Miss India 2020 1st Runner Up, while Uttar Pradesh’s Shinata Chauhan was crowned Femina Miss India 2020 2nd Runner Up.

The Miss India Organization has yet again successfully orchestrated another season’s grand finale at Jio World Convention Centre, who played the perfect host to the mesmerizing event. The star-studded coronation night unfolded with sensational performances set against creative excellence and artistic mastery.

Aspirants from across the country battled for the national title and the process was conducted in two phases, virtually and on ground. While we continue to live amid the restrictions due to the global pandemic, unlike the last edition, this year all 31 state winners made it to the city of dreams to continue their journey to winning the coveted crown.

Femina Miss India 2022 mentor and former Miss India Neha Dhupia was felicitated at the event on the occasion of her 20th crowning anniversary. Though the 58th edition of Femina Miss India was hosted in a private ceremony, the night witnessed many stars that added sparkle to the dazzling event. And adding the entertaining element to the event were Kriti Sanon, Lauren Gottlieb, and Ash Chandler who left the audience gripped. The show was hosted by Maniesh Paul.

The esteemed panel of judges for the evening included Femina Miss India 2022 mentor, actress, and former Miss India, Neha Dhupia; Actress, Malaika Arora; Singer, Choreographer, and Performing artist, Shiamak Davar; Actor, Dino Morea; Fashion Designers Rahul Khanna and Rohit Gandhi; and former Indian women’s team captain, Mithali Raj.

Further in the evening, the gorgeous state winners walked the ramp adorning gorgeous lehengas by Mohey that added oomph to the stage and later changed into a resort wear collection by Abhishek Sharma. Former winners Manasa Varanasi, Manika Sheokand, and Manya Omprakash Singh strutted the ramp with utmost grace and elegance before crowning their successors.

The evening concluded with the crowning ceremony. Manasa crowned her successor Sini Shetty as the winner of Femina Miss India World 2022; who will now represent India at the prestigious 71st Miss World pageant. While Manika and Manya crowned Rubal Shekhawat and Shinata Chauhan respectively.
