Hina Khan is currently in Madinah. She left Mumbai a few days ago to perform her first Umrah. The actress is keeping fans abreast of her travels across Saudi Arabia. While she is cherishing her experience, her latest photos on social media have been severely criticised by netizens.
In her photo album, Hina, who has done several popular shows on TV including Bigg Boss, can be seen sporting a light purple abaya and posing around the masjid. She captioned the photos as, “Ibaadat ka rukh makka hai, Mohabbat ka rukh madina hai.”

Looking at her posing in her traditional gear at a holy place made many upset. They slammed her for ‘doing photoshoot’ and asked her to be a little considerate. One netizen wrote, “Arrey yaar aaplog umrah ke liye jaate ho ya photo shoot ke liye (You guys go to perform Umrah or do photoshoot).”
Another commented, “Shame on you Hina. Being a celebrity at least you should show some sense of responsibility. It’s looking more like a photoshoot. This is our holy place. Respect the place please.”

An internet user also shared, “Maldives, Bali, London, NYC, Switzerland etc are now passee. People now go to pilgrimage sites like Mecca, Medina, Vaishnodevi, Golden temple etc for photoshoot!”

In one of her Instagram stories, Hina also informed fans that her mother’s leg pain has increased so much that she is now wheelchair bound. She requested her followers to pray for her mother. Besides this, she shared the amazing food and hospitality that she is getting to experience on her trip. Before Madinah, Hina and her family were in Makkah.
