If you visit Iceland, chances are that you might bump into Prime Minister Katrin Jakobsdottir on her way to work. Just as reporter Max Foster did. A TikTok video of the moment has surfaced on Twitter and is swiftly going viral across social media.

Max Foster met Jakobsdottir while she was walking to work and conversed with her about Iceland. “So, Prime Minister, why should people visit Iceland,” Max Foster asked.

Pat came the response as Jakobsdottir said, “Iceland is a good place to be and visit. I hope it is a good place to visit. But I think, the biggest reason to visit Iceland is to see its nature. It’s amazing and outstanding.”

Neither was she accompanied by security officials nor did she appear unapproachable as Max Foster spoke to her.

What Max Foster, in fact, found quite “extraordinary” is the fact that you might just end up bumping into the Prime Minister on the street.

“I mean you can just walk around and bump into the prime minister, which is pretty extraordinary,” Max Foster added.

“If you find that interesting, yes,” Jakobsdottir said, in a pretty nonchalant manner.

This is so nice. Watch the video here:
