The clip, shared by an Instagram user, reveals that chewing gum may contain a secretion from sheep’s glands. Yes, you read that right. Shocked? Well, wait until you see the sheep’s body part from which the ingredient is taken. He adds, “You may have heard that chewing gum strengthens your jaws, and many of you chew it to achieve a chiseled jawline. But do you know that lanolin is added to chewing gum to make it soft? You should know that lanolin is an oily substance secreted from the sebaceous glands of sheep’s skin. This is the same gland that causes our body to sweat and secrete sebum, making our face sticky.
