17-year-old boy, girl found hanging in Delhi's Deer Park | Delhi News – The Times of India

NEW DELHI: A 17-year-old boy and girl were found hanging from a tree on Sunday in Deer Park, in southwest Delhi’s Safdarjung Enclave, suggesting a suspected suicide pact.
According to the police, a distress call was made by the security guard, 35-year-old Baljit Singh, at 6:31 am on March 23.
“Upon arrival, police officers found the two teenagers hanging from a tree branch using a common nylon rope. The boy was dressed in a black T-shirt and blue jeans, while the girl wore a green dress,” said Additional DCP Southwest District.
The police initiated an investigation, with the crime team inspecting the scene and the bodies being shifted to the mortuary for further examination.
The area is known for its chain of restaurants, shops, and the famous Safdurjang B6 market right opposite Deer Park.
A case was registered and the investigation is underway.
