Indian leg spinner Piyush Chawla called his time on his cricketing career on Friday, June 6. A multi-time World Cup, Chawla retires as the third-highest wicket-taker in the history of the Indian Premier League.

Nearly 13 years after playing his last international match for India, leg spinner Piyush Chawla has called time on his career from all forms of cricket. A wily spinner, known for his exceptional googlies, Chawla is a multi-time Indian Premier League winner, and the third highest wicket-taker of the tournament.

Despite a brief India career, Chawla won two international trophies with the side, the 2007 and the 2011 World Cups.
