Popular fast food chain Nando’s ran out of its signature Peri Peri Chicken after dwindling staff members and supply chain issues. Around 10% of their outlets across Britain had to be shut till supplies could be restored. However, Twitter users made the most of this situation by sharing some witty and creative memes. After a delay of a year, the Met Gala finally took place in New York. One of the most-awaited events in the world of fashion, there were a number of head-turning looks at this grand ball. In an attempt to make it more indulgent, street food vendors were often seen drizzling their preparations with a layer of extra cheese. Many food bloggers were seen capturing this bizarre phenomenon which appeared to be performative only for the camera.
