YouTuber IShowSpeed, who is in Trinidad at the moment, was seen having some fun on a cricket field in a viral video in which he gave a shoutout to Virat Kohli and took a swipe at Babar Azam. The clip showed Speed first watching his friend take a strike before joining in himself.

After his friend failed to play a good shot and was dismissed quickly, Speed mocked him and referenced the Pakistan batter. “Bro what was that? That’s Babar Azam stuff bro,” said Speed. He then took strike himself and, after hitting the bowler for a boundary, jumped in celebration and shouted out the Indian star. “Virat Kohli baby. Shoutout to my homie Virat Kohli,” said Speed.

Speed has long been known to be a fan of Kohli. He travelled to India during the 2023 World Cup, watched the India vs Pakistan match and also met Jay Shah. However, his wish of meeting Kohli did not materialise, though he has continued to publicly back the Indian batter.

He had also reacted earlier to Kohli’s Test retirement in 2025 and said he was saddened by the decision. “This s**t is sad. All the legends are retiring, bro. All the legends are retiring, man. Ain’t no f**king way you just retired! Ain’t no f**king way he just retired! And, they just won an ICC! Why is he retiring if they just won the ICC? Like, what the f**k?! This gotta be fake. Why would he retire at 36 if he just won the ICC? Why would he do that?” said Speed.

Kohli, meanwhile, has continued his strong run with the bat for RCB in IPL 2026. He has scored 328 runs in seven matches at a strike-rate of 163.18 and an average of 54.67.
