Asian Games 2026 Live, September 29: India begin day with archery, shooting and kurash
Godo morning folks! India have won 45 medals, out of which 8 were won yesterday.
With four Gold medals, they are in the top 15 at the moment. The individual Gold has eluded them. Can it come today in shooting?
The action begins early at the shooting range, where India has two team medal events at 6:30 AM. Kynan Chenai, Ahvar Rizvi and Shapath Bharadwaj will contest the men’s trap team final, while Neeru, Manisha Keer and Aashima Ahlawat will line up on the women’s trap team final.
The shooting medal rush does not end there. The women’s trap individual final at 10:30 AM features Neeru, Manisha Keer and Aashima Ahlawat, before Kynan, Ahvar and Shapath return for the men’s individual final at noon. That gives India several chances to add to its medal tally.
