Three terrorists have been killed in an encounter with security forces in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

Kashmir Zone Police said on Monday morning that the encounter broke out in Khulchohar area of Anantnag.

The identities of the terrorists are being ascertained, police said.

A team of Jammu & Kashmir Police and security forces is carrying out a search operation in the area, police added. Further details are awaited.
