Uttar Pradesh reported highest single-day spike in coronavirus infections on Tuesday with 1346 new cases. The maximum number of cases was reported in Lucknow at 196. The second-highest number of cases was in Ghaziabad at 149 in Ghaziabad followed by Gautam Buddh Nagar district with 115 cases.

518 patients have been declared recovered and discharged in the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of discharged cases to 19,627 in Uttar Pradesh.

There are 9,514 actives cases of coronavirus in UP at present including maximum number of 1,390 active cases in Ghaziabad, followed by 1,121 in Noida, 718 in Lucknow and 412 in Kanpur, according to the data released by the health department of the state government.
