At least six people sleeping on the pavement on National Highway-2 were crushed to death by a speeding truck in Agra.
The police have seized the truck involved in the accident.

Three more people, who were also sleeping on the pavement, were injured during the accident that took place opposite the Guru Ka Tal Gurdwara.
The three injured have now been admitted at the SN Medical College where their condition is said to be critical.
The bodies of the victims have been sent for postmortem.
SSP Bablu Kumar visited the accident site and instructed the police personnel to expedite the identification efforts. He told India Today that both the driver and the cleaner of the truck have been arrested.
