Role Summary:

Candidate will join GE indirect tax team covering 24 countries in Middle East, Africa and Europe to be responsible for supervising withholding tax process and executing monthly and annual withholding tax returns in United Kingdome, Ireland and East Europe in addition to managing required documentation for international tax purposes and any related reporting required.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Preparation and submission of CIS, RCT and other withholding tax filings.

• Ensure obtaining proper documentation for international tax purposes.

• Ensure correct application of international tax treaties along with TP.

• Ensure timely payment and submission of all returns.

• Handle tax audits along with external tax advisor.

• Work with other finance and business functions to increase automation of the compliance process and returns.

• Support business and finance functions with guidance and participate in system projects.

• Responsible for tax planning and tax payment forecast.

• Responsible for running and reconciling tax balance sheet accounts.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum 2 – 5 years of international tax / indirect tax experience in a big four or multinational companies.

• English fluency is a must.

• Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Experience of CIS / RCT (preferable).

• ADIT holder (preferable).

• Good knowledge of tax accounting.
