Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh on Thursday nominated Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma and Harbhajan Singh for #KeepItUp challenge to prevent spread of coronavirus.

Yuvraj took to his official Twitter handle to share a video in which he could be seen keeping a ball bouncing on his bat as he nominated Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh and Rohit Sharma to follow his actions.

“In these challenging times, I am committed to staying at home to prevent the spread of #Covid19 and will #KeepItUp as long as it is required. I further nominate master blaster @sachin_rt hit man @ImRo45 and turbanator @harbhajan_singh @UN @deespeak,” Yuvraj tweeted.

In the video, Yuvraj Singh, who is known for his witty remarks, clearly said that the challenge will be easy for Sachin Tendulkar, maybe easy for Rohit Sharma but not so easy for Harbhajan Singh.

Last month, Yuvraj Singh and Rohit Sharma had caught up on Instagram live session and talked about a series of topics, ranging from the behavior of India cricketers to how the players are spending time in the Covid-19 lockdown.

Yuvraj Singh has said that the current generation of young India players lacks respect for their seniors. The left-handed batsman made the comment when Rohit Sharma asked him the difference between the current slot of India cricketers and the players in the time of the all-rounder.

When Rohit asked Yuvraj the difference between the current India team and the one Yuvraj Singh played in, the latter said, “I felt when I came into the team or when you (Rohit) came into the team. Our seniors were very disciplined. Obviously there was no social media so there were no distractions. There was a certain behavior that we boys had to carry, how they talk to people, how they talk to media. Because they were the ambassadors of the game and India.”
