Food served in airplanes has gained a notorious tag over the years. We often hear complaints from passengers about the meagre meals served on flights. While some say that the portions are too small, others are simply appalled by the quality of the food. The common notion is that the meals served in the flight’s First Class may be better than those served in Economy or Business since the ticket comes at a premium price. However, a recent passenger travelling by British Airways found out that even first-class meals can be quite bad. Twitter user Jane Hawkes, who goes by the handle @ladyjaney75, shared a picture of her first-class meal in British Airways and asked others to share their thoughts about it. Take a look:

The Twitter user Jane Hawkes wrote, “First class #BritishAirways breakfast. Thoughts?” The photograph received over 2.7k likes and 1.5k comments since the time it was posted. Hundreds of users also poured in their comments about the breakfast.

In the click, we could see two plates of breakfast kept side by side. A couple of stir-fried mushrooms, a single sausage and a couple of fried potatoes could be spotted on the plate. The two food items on the right seemed to be scrambled eggs and a hash brown, however, they couldn’t be properly identified.

The bizarre and horrifying breakfast meal served in British Airways left Twitter users stunned. Many of them shared their reactions to the post. “The more I look at this the worse it gets,” wrote one user while another said, “What is that meat?” A few others were also surprised to know that the meal was from first class as it did not look like it at all.

Take a look at the reactions on Twitter:
