Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul actor, Sheezan Khan, who spent nearly 10 weeks in jail for his alleged involvement in the suicide case of his ex-girlfriend and co-actress Tunisha Sharma was released on bail from Thane Central Jail today (March 5). As per an ANI report the Vasai court ordered Sheezan’s bail with Rs 1 Lakh surety bond on and he was also asked to submit his passport. Photos from outside the Thane Central Jail shows Sheezan Khan’s sisters Falaq and Shafaq Naaz getting emotional and hugging their brother.
Recently, Sheezan’s lawyer Shailendra told ETimes TV, “Sachhai ki jeet hui hai, Satyameva Jayate. He was innocent, he is innocent. The judgement in the High Court will also prove his innocence. Our hearing at the High Court is pending. It is on March 9, where we will seek to quash the FIR filed against him. He has been granted bail by the Vasai court. I will try to get him out this evening or Monday morning. We are thankful and grateful to everybody who has supported us and not supported us.”

He further told BT, “Sheezan has been granted bail on a surety of Rs 1,00,000. We are in the process of complying with the terms and conditions set out by the court. Other conditions that he has been asked to abide by are not tampering with the evidence, influencing the complainant, and traveling without prior permission. He has been directed to attend trial regularly.”

Sheezan was arrested after his co-star Tunisha Sharma, who was also his former girlfriend, died by suicide on the sets of the TV show, constructed at Naigaon in Vasai town. He was arrested on the charges of abetment to suicide. He was arrested last year on December 24.

Sheezan and Tunisha got into a relationship while working together but had broken off just a couple of weeks before the latter’s death. Tunisha’s family accused Sheezan of their daughter’s death, alleging that Tunisha was in a deeply disturbed state of mind after the breakup.
