According to the State Health Department’s data, Assam has registered 3,152 Covid-19 cases in the last 10 days.

Assam recorded its highest single-day spike of 613 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday and one Covid-19 patient died at a government run hospital in Guwahati.

Confirming the numbers, Assam Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said a total of 613 Covid-19 positive cases were detected in the state in the last 24 hours.

With the new cases, the state’s Covid-19 tally for Covid-19 has now increased to 8,407.

Out of the new cases, 380 cases were found alone in Guwahati city.

The Assam Health Minister said in a tweet, “572 new #COVID19+ cases detected today. Today, 380 cases were reported in Guwahati City alone, and need for caution can’t be overemphasized. Total cases 8407, Recovered 5647, Active cases 2745, Deaths 12. 11:55 PM/ June 30/ Day’s total 613.”

On June 21, Assam had reported 331 positive cases of Covid-19.

According to the State Health Department’s data, Assam has registered 3,152 Covid-19 cases in the last 10 days.

The state had reported 331 cases on June 21 while 267 cases were recorded on June 22, 203 cases on June 23, 314 cases on June 24, 276 cases on June 25, 273 cases on June 26, 246 cases on June 27, 327 cases on June 28, 302 cases on June 29 and 613 cases on June 30.
