Australia wicketkeeper Josh Inglis missed a hilarious run-out chance against West Indies during the 1st ODI of the series on Friday, 2 February. Playing at the Melbourne Cricket Stadium, Inglis was slightly off-focus in the 47th over of the first innings of the match.

Inglis had a clear-cut run out chance against Gudakesh Motie in the first innings of the match but managed to muck it up despite the batter being miles away from his mark. The incident occurred in the 47th over of the match when Inglis collected the throw from deep cover. The keeper had to turn and simply dislodge the bails, but made an absolute meal out of it as Motie was struggling to get back after misjudging his third run.
