Well, that brings an end to another rain-affected session in this Test. After a delayed start, we managed to get underway, but only 2.5 overs were bowled before the rain returned, as forecasted. During that short passage of play, Ravindra Jadeja brought up a well-compiled half-century. When play resumed, Jadeja and Nitish Kumar Reddy continued to apply themselves, steadily chipping away at the follow-on deficit. However, Pat Cummins, with his knack for making things happen, struck a crucial blow as Reddy dragged one back onto his stumps. Australia finally managed to break through to the tail, and the arrival of Mohammed Siraj brought some nervy moments for the tourists.
