Baba Siddique murder case: Mumbai crime branch arrests three more suspects

The Mumbai crime branch arrested of three more suspects on Wednesday from Pune. The total number of individuals apprehended in connection with this case has now reached 14. The recently arrested suspects have been identified as Rupesh Rajendra Mohol (22), Karan Rahul Salve (19), and Shivam Arvind Kohad (20).
According to the crime branch statement quoted by ANI, the suspects’ “involvement in the case has been established, and they are being arrested.”
Earlier, in the day the Mumbai crime branch had also arrested Amit Hisamsing Kumar in connection to the case.
Meanwhile, the Anti-Extortion Cell had arrested Bhagwant Omsingh, 32, a scrap shop owner in Belapur, Navi Mumbai, on Sunday. He is accused of playing a significant role in aiding the shooters involved in the murder of the NCP leader. Omsingh was remanded to police custody until October 26, with public prosecutor Randdhir Yelaave stating that he provided shelter to the shooters and facilitated their transport of weapons.
In the last week, law enforcement took into custody a total of 10 people connected to the incident; among them Gurmail Singh and Dharmaraj Kashyap were identified as the shooters. However, the primary gunman, Shivkumar Gautam, continues to evade authorities and remains on the run.
