India have made a steady start to their Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games campaign, collecting 12 medals so far – 2 gold, 7 silver and 3 bronze.

The country’s biggest success has come in weightlifting, which has delivered the highest number of medals.

Athletics has also contributed significantly, while para-athletics and para powerlifting have added to an encouraging overall medal haul as India continues its push up the standings.
