When Beckham met Kohli

Football great David Beckham, who was at the Wankhede Stadium as the ambassador of UNICEF, took time to meet and greet Virat Kohli and congratulate the former India captain for the remarkable feat. Kohli’s memorable 50th ODI hundred

Kohli’s hundred was the highlight of the Indian innings as the former captain took a moment to get his helmet off and bow down to Sachin Tendulkar. India posted a record-breaking total of 397 against New Zealand in the World Cup 2023 semi-finals at the Wankhede Stadium, the highest total by any team in the knockout stage of the tournament.
