Malayalam star Suresh Gopi, one of the most versatile actors in the industry, turns a year older today and social media is filled with wishes from his fans and celebrities.

On the occasion of his 61st birthday, popular personalities including Mohanlal, Nivin Pauly, Vedhika and others took to Twitter to wish the actor. Hashtag #HappyBirthdaySureshGopi is trending on the internet.

Superstar Mohanlal was one of the first celebrities to wish the actor. He also revealed the teaser of Suresh Gopi’s upcoming Malayalam film, Kaaval, written and directed by Nithin Renji Panicker. Mohanlal wrote, “Happy Birthday Dear Suresh Gopi. Happy to share the teaser of your new movie Kaaval on this special day.”

The teaser has already crossed more than 3,50,000 views on YouTube.

Dulquer Salmaan, who worked with Suresh Gopi in his latest film, Varane Avashyamund, took to Facebook to wish the actor. He wrote, “Sureshetta, thank you for all the good times and laughs and great conversation on the sets of Varane Avashyamund! Here’s wishing you the happiest birthday ! Lots of love always (sic).”
