When it comes to birthdays, we all yearn for special treatment — surprise parties, heartfelt visits from loved ones, and lavish presents. And, any birthday is incomplete without a yummy cake. Internet users are no strangers to unique cakes.  Now, in a recent viral Instagram reel, the spotlight shone on a birthday cake and for good reason. While the cake looks like a regular white icing dessert from the outside, the inside of the delectable creation resembled an Instagram DM chat between the cake creator and the birthday boy, complete with two different shades of blue mirroring the text interface. In the video, the cake is cut into and when a slice is removed, it resembles the text bubbles in the aforementioned chat. Sharing the video, the user said, “Made a cake for my friend to celebrate his birthday and our friendship we made over Instagram DM [heart emoji].”

Needless to say, foodies assembled in the comments section and shared their views on the creation that blended technology, artistry, and taste. One commenter exclaimed, “Creativity at its peak.” Another individual, touched by the camaraderie depicted in the video, said, “Friends I aspire to have.” “Even got the tiny heart reaction in it,” one comment says.

On the lighter side, one hilarious soul chimed in, declaring, “This guy took ‘Never let them know your next move’ to the next level.” “Omg, dude so much effort for the dumbest joke ever. Good stuff!” noted another user. “Love the TEXTure of the cake,” joked one user.

One foodie confessed, “I had some expectations, but this is not what I expected. Amazing. As always.” 

However, there also was a keen observer who pointed out, “I think it is the only slice that is like that. After he lifted the slice, there is no similar pattern in the cake.”
