An ice cream truck is currently the centre of attention on Reddit. What is so unique about it, you ask? Well, it’s powered by solar panels, which are set on top of the truck. The image of the truck has been uploaded on a Reddit sub: ‘r/delhi’. It showcases an ice cream truck standing in a street with solar panels on top. For the unversed, the Glycol freezer – used by the vendors to keep the ice creams frozen in sweltering heat – is heavy. This is not it, they drain a comparatively larger amount of power. In such a situation, solar panels function as a great rescuer for the vendors. Notably, the solar panel instalment costs are pretty high.
