IPL 2025 Points Table, April 3: KKR jump to third after crushing win vs SRH
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), on Thursday, beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 80 runs in Match No.15 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. With the win, KKR jumped to fifth in the table after improving their net run rate from -1.428 to +0.070. The Sunrisers, on the other hand, slipped to the bottom with their third defeat on the trot.
After being asked to bat first, Kolkata Knight Riders put up a decent score of 200 for six on the board. Venkatesh Iyer was their star batter, scoring 60 off 29, laced with seven fours and three sixes. Angkrish Raghuvanshi also chipped in with a handy 50-run knock.

Rinku Singh and skipper Rahane put up useful scores of 32 not out and 38 respectively. Thereafter, the Knights bowled the Sunrisers out for 120 in 16.4 overs. Vaibhav Arora, who won the Player of the Match award, and Varun Chakravarthy picked up three wickets apiece.
