Major League Cricket: Ambati Rayudu pulls out of inaugural season – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Major League Cricket team Texas Super Kings announced on Saturday that their star batter Ambati Rayudu has pulled out of the inaugural season of due to personal reasons.
Texas Super Kings took Twitter to make the announcement.
“Ambati Rayudu will not be available to participate in the first season for the MLC with Texas Super Kings due to personal reasons. He will continue to cheer for the team from India,” the statement said.

Rayudu had recently retired from all forms of cricket after winning the 2023 Indian Premier League with Chennai Super Kings and was set to become the first Indian international to play for Texas Super Kings in MLC.
Owned by the Chennai Super Kings franchise, Texas Super Kings will begin their campaign against the Los Angeles Knight Riders in the inaugural match of MLC 2023 at the Grand Prairie in Texas on July 13.
