Maruti Suzuki today launched the much-anticipated Fronx compact SUV in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 7.46 lakh (ex-showroom). The 1.0-litre K-Series Turbo Boosterjet engine of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx is available at a starting price of Rs 9.72 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.13 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom). Customers can book the Maruti Suzuki Fronx online or via the company’s Nexa dealerships at a token amount of Rs 11,000. The Maruti Suzuki Fronx can also be owned via Maruti Suzuki Subscribe at a monthly subscription fee starting from Rs 17,378.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Colour options
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx compact SUV is available in 10 monotone and dual-tone paint schemes. The 7 monotone shades include – Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey, Bluish Black, Celestial Blue, Opulent Red, and Earthen Brown. The dual-tone colour combinations on offer are Splendid Silver with Bluish Black Roof, Opulent Red with Bluish Black Roof and Earthen Brown with Bluish Black Roof.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Exterior
Taking design inspiration from the Grand Vitara and the Baleno, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx is equipped with a large hexagonal grille separated by a chrome bar, sleeker-looking LED headlamps and DRLs. Moreover, the front bumper of the compact SUV gets faux skid plates in grey colour. The side profile is flanked by 16-inch precision-cut dual-tone alloy wheels and a sloping roofline providing it with a coupe-like appeal. At the rear, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx sports signature LED block tail-lamps, an LED strip running across the width of the compact SUV and an integrated spoiler element on the roof.

On the inside, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx comes equipped with a 9.0-inch HD Smart Play Pro+ infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, an ARKAMYS sound system, Suzuki Connect with 40+ connected car features, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a HUD unit, 360-degree camera and cruise control, to name a few.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Engine
Powering the Maruti Suzuki Fronx is an all-new 1.0L K-Series turbo Boosterjet petrol engine featuring Progressive Smart Hybrid technology that will generate 99 hp power and 147 Nm torque. Customers can also choose a 1.2L K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with Idle star stop technology, producing 89 hp power and 113 Nm torque. Transmission options include a five-speed manual transmission, five-speed AGS transmission and six-speed AMT.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Safety features
Built on the Suzuki HEARTECT platform, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx gets a host of safety features, including six airbags (driver, co-driver, side & curtain), three-point ELR seatbelts, ESP with Hill Hold Assist & rollover mitigation, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat anchorages.
