What Makes Sindhi Bhuga Chawal So Unique?

Sindhi bhuga chawal gives an interesting twist to regular chawal. You must’ve tried spiced versions, such as the ones made with jeera or coriander. But this one brings a slightly sweet element to the rice. And no, it’s not sugar that makes it sweet, but instead onions! The onions are sauteed in ghee and some spices until they become caramelised. They are then cooked along with the rice to make this stellar dish.

What To Serve With Sindhi Bhuga Chawal?

Sindhi bhuga chawal tastes best when paired with sai bhaji or Sindhi dal. It makes for quite a comforting combination and is a staple in Sindhi households. Apart from this, you can pair this chawal with any other dal or sabzi of your choice. Do not forget to have some achaar and salad along with it.
