Telugu actor Nithiin and Shalini were supposed to have a destination wedding on April 15 and 16. However, due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, they decided to postpone their wedding date.

According to the latest reports, the actor will tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend in Hyderbad on July 26. The increase in the number of coronavirus cases in Hyderabad has forced the couple to have a low-key wedding ceremony with only family members in attendance.

Sources also say that the wedding will be held at their farm house in Hyderabad following the guidelines imposed by the government. The pre-wedding celebrations will begin in a week’s time.

An official announcement regarding their wedding date will be made soon.

It is worth mentioning that Nithiin’s father Sudhakar Reddy is a popular producer and distributor in the Telugu film industry. Initially, they had planned to host a grand wedding in Dubai with friends and family. The family had decided to organise a reception for Nithiin’s industry colleagues at a plush hotel in Hyderabad.

In February, he got engaged to Shalini in the presence of his family and close friends. Shalini is an MBA graduate who studied in the UK and they have been seeing each other for the past three years.

On the professional front, Nithiin is currently working on a film titled Rang De, directed by Venky Atluri. He also has another film which is directed by Krishna Chaitanya.
