Rakul Preet Singh often gives us a glimpse of her foodie side. This gives us all the more reason for keeping an eye on her social media. We have learned that the actress never lets her indulgences come in the way of her fitness regime. In a bid to personally connect with her fans, Rakul conducted an Ask Me Anything session on her Instagram Stories recently. Giving her fans an opportunity to know her better, Rakul spilt the beans about her diet. When a fan asked Rakul, “Please tell about your daily diet routine to be healthy and fit,” the actress answered the question by sharing a clip.

The clip opens with Rakul Preet Singh confessing that she hates the word “diet” as she thinks it’s a “depressing word.” The actress then revealed that she relies on “balanced eating” and compared it to a lifestyle. The actress said, “Firstly I hate the word diet. I think it’s a very depressing word and it makes you very unhappy. I prefer more balanced eating. And I think for me it’s a way of life.” Debunking the myth of fitness being just a trend, Rakul urged her fans and followers to “make it a routine”. Rakul added, “I have always been saying that fitness is never a fad. Make it a routine like how you eat your meals. Make workout a routine.”

Rakul Preet Singh also spoke about her daily routine. “So I wake up, have my coffee, then I go to the gym. That’s my routine. If I don’t do that I feel like something is missing. Do that. That’s the lifestyle you should adapt to.”  The actress concluded by advising her fans about the foods that they must avoid and the eating habits they must rely on. Rakul said, “Rest just eat your ghar ka khana, healthy—dal, roti, sabzi. Stop junk food, stop sugar. The only thing I avoid is white sugar, junk food and no dairy-no gluten.”

Rakul Preet Singh was last seen in Jio Cinema’s I Love You, wherein she shared the screen space with Pavail Gulati and Akshay Oberoi.
