Sachin Tendulkar congratulates daughter Sara for joining new venture
India’s legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar made a special announcement via his social media handle. Sachin congratulated his daughter Sara Tendulkar for joining the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation. Sara joined Sachin’s venture as Director of the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation. Sachin praised Sara for her educational background in medical, with which she would be able to empower society. Sara Tendulkar completed her master’s degree from University College of London. As supportive parents, Anjali and Sachin were also present on the convocation day at UCL in London.
“I’m overjoyed to share that my daughter Sara Tendulkar has joined the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation as Director. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition from University College London. As she embarks on this journey to empower India through sports, healthcare, and education, it serves as a reminder of how global learning can come full circle,” Sachin tweeted on X.

Recently, Sara had also shared snippets from her and mother Anjali Tendulkar’s visit to a remote village in Udaipur. She spoke about the meaningful experience of meeting the under previliged communities.
“Spending time in a remote village near Udaipur with @basichealthcareservices and @sachintendulkarfoundation was an incredibly meaningful experience. They set up clinics to provide affordable healthcare to underserved communities, and have created phulwaris – safe spaces that nurture young children with nutritious meals and engaging activities to support their cognitive development, allowing them to thrive while their parents work.
What really stood out to me, beyond meeting the beautiful and inspiring women of the village, was their determination to train as nurses and social workers to serve and uplift their communities. It made me reflect on how even the smallest change can create a ripple effect and strengthen the entire village,” her caption read.
Sara Tendulkar’s new role
Recently, Sachin Tendulkar reunited with his childhood friend Vinod Kambli at the unveiling ceremony of memorial for legendary cricket coach Ramakant Achrekar in Mumbai on Tuesday, December 3. Notably, Tendulkar and Kambli were pupils of Achrekar who honed their cricketing skills under his tutelage.
