Tata Motors showcased a fully-electric concept of its Harrier SUV at the 2023 Auto Expo earlier this year, confirming that the project is being worked on and will turn into reality in the coming years. Now, the Indian carmaker has revealed a new image of the upcoming electric SUV on its social media handles, possibly to gauge public response.

The Harrier EVconcept that was showcased at the Auto Expo in January dawned a white paint scheme with contrasting black elements.

However, the one that Tata Motors has revealed now features a dual-tone Bronze and White theme. The SUV gets a new split headlamp design with a full-width running LED bar and an enclosed grille.
It should be noted that the Harrier EV still looks like its in a concept form, and the design could be slightly toned down as the electric SUV nears production. That said, the design changes made to the Harrier EV over the standard ICE Harrier could also make way to the latter in the form of a facelift. At the time of the Harrier EV’s debut, Tata Motors had confirmed that it will be equipped with a dual electric motor setup with an all-wheel drive configuration.

It was also revealed that the electric SUV will be equipped with vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities. Tata Motors hasn’t revealed the exact specifications of the Harrier EV yet, but a real-world range of around 400 – 500 km can be expected from the SUV. It will directly put up against the upcoming electrified Mahindra XUV700.
