This Filter Coffee Is Going Viral. Not For Its Taste But The Chefs Skills

[ad_1]

Despite the advent of fancy cafes and multinational coffee chains, traditional filter coffee reigns supreme. Freshly brewed authentic filter coffee can uplift your mood at any time of the day. What does it taste like? Filter coffee is not too thick, the milk in the coffee doesn’t usually coat your tongue and only its aroma is enough to brighten up your day. In addition, this hot beverage is a must-have if you wish to wash down lip-smacking South-Indian dishes. You must be wondering why all of a sudden we are talking about filter coffee. Well, a viral video has left us craving this hot drink. But the internet is going gaga over the skills showcased by the chef. His eccentric skills in preparing the filter coffee have made the clip go crazy viral.

The video was shared by an Instagram food vlogger ‘foodieaddict’ and through the caption he informed that it was recorded at a local coffee bar in Pondicherry. The clip opens with 10 metal tumblers in the dabara saucer, kept in a triangular format. The chef, holding a container filled with sugar, can be seen standing across the table. In just a blink of an eye, the chef adds sugar to all the metal tumblers, that too without bending. What is more amusing is the fact that his hand movement is completely in sync with the Taal Se Taal Mila music being played in the background. Next, he adds liquid coffee to one of the tumblers from a height. Then he filled the tumbler and the saucer with boiled milk and began juggling the coffee between the two utensils.

Needless to say, his skills impressed the internet, as a user commented, “Indian people have the best talent in the whole world, and the best-talented people live there.”

A few were quick to point out how he wasted sugar while showing his skills. A comment read, “If he bends a few more inches he can save all the wasted sugar.”

Some even joked about the same, as a user wrote, “Uncle throwing sugar exactly how my boss throws work at me.”

Many appreciated the video and wrote, “What a sync of music with sugar.”

So far the video has been played more than three million times.
