We all love to eat spicy and crunchy snacks. If stuffed with chickpeas, nuts etc, it becomes more satisfying and fulfilling. We also have a knack for experimenting with dishes and giving even an imported cuisine a desi twist. For instance, the desi Chinese recipes have attained a life of their own and they have, arguably, become more popular than the original Chinese recipes. However, not all crossover dishes become successful. But they do catch the eyeballs for their weird experiment! Consider this: an eatery at Delhi airport has experimented with a pastry of Austrian origin and moulded it into a desi snack – called “Cramosa”.

A Cramosa is a crossover between a Croissant and a Samosa. The snack is priced at Rs 170 (exclusive of taxes). A Twitter user has shared its image and everyone appears to be either curious or bewildered by it.

A person described the idea behind Cramosa as “innovation at its finest”.

Another gave the attempt a “10/10”, saying he would try it.

But most people appeared astonished by the recipe.

Some also referred to the high price of the snack.
