Ingredients:

  • 4 whole garlic heads
  • Olive oil
  • 1 stick softened butter
  • 1 tablespoon minced basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • Kosher salt to taste

Method:

  1. Take a piece of aluminum foil. Keep the garlic heads in it and add some olive oil. Wrap it up and pop it in the oven at 400 degrees for 1 to 1.5 hours or until it becomes golden.
  2. Now, squeeze out the roasted garlic into a bowl and combine it with butter, basil, red pepper, and salt.
  3. Stir this mixture until smooth and then brush it onto the bread of choice.
  4. Bake 15 minutes until golden-brown, then slice and serve hot!
