Former captain Virat Kohli reacted to India’s terrific win at Oval on Monday, August 4. Shubman Gill’s team pulled the match back from the jaws of defeat, scripting a sensational victory against the English side. Kohli took to Twitter to express his joy, and gave special mention to fast bowler Mohammed Siraj, who single handedly won India the Oval Test on Day 5.

India were down and out in the final innings of the Test match with Joe Root and Harry Brook scoring cracking hundreds. However, India seamers Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna showed exceptional grit to pull the game back for the visitors.

Defending 35 runs on the final day, Siraj bowled exceptionally well, helping India pick the last 4 wickets with only 6 runs remaining.
