NEW DELHI: The debut match for your country has never been easy for any player but India’s Rahul Tripathi kept his composure to take a well-judged catch against Sri Lanka during the second T20l of the three-match series at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Thursday.
The incident occurred in the 12th over of the Lankan innings when Pathum Nissanka went for a pull shot only to find Tripathi at the deep mid-wicket boundary.
The local lad kept his calm while keeping his eyes on the ball as he grabbed an excellent one near the boundary line.

Nissanka, who became Axar Patel’s victim, scored 33 off 35 balls with the help of four boundaries.

Earlier, India, who made two changes to their side as Tripathi replaced Sanju Samson while Arshdeep Singh came in place of Harshal Patel, won the toss and opted to bowl against unchanged Sri Lanka.
