Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, fondly known as Thalaivar, needs no introduction. Fans never leave a chance to celebrate him. Be it his birthday or movie release, Rajinikanth’s fan army clearly knows how to mark the special day. And, they do it like a total pro. Over the years, many people have tried to adopt his looks by dressing up as his larger-than-life on-screen personas. Well, it seems a fan has managed to do it. A video of Rajinikant’s real-life doppelganger has surfaced online. The undated video shows a man, dressed in a simple shirt and shorts, talking to a group of intrigued youngsters. Nadirshah also shared some photos with Mr Prabhu on Facebook.

This is not the first time that a Rajinikanth look alike has gone viral. In November 2022, Rehmat Gashkori, a 62-year-old retired government official from Pakistan, made news after he started posting his videos on social media. These videos soon prompted people to link his appearance with Rajinikanth.

In an interview with Arab News, Gashkori said, “During my service with the deputy commissioner’s office in Sibi, I didn’t care too much about the comments about my resemblance with Rajinikanth. After I retired, I started using social media and many people started calling me by that name. I accepted it since I realised that God had blessed me with the looks of a great actor and human being.”
He added that once in Karachi he was mobbed by people at a shopping mall who mistook him for Rajinikanth.
