Bigg Boss OTT season 2, which started eight weeks ago, completed its successful run tonight on August 14. The show was loved by the audiences so much that it got a two weeks extension. The grand finale saw a mail-biting finish, between two successful YouTubers Abhishek Malhan and Elvish Yadav.

After a neck-to-neck competition, Elvish Yadav was declared as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT season 2.

He created a history by lifting the trophy as none of the wildcards has ever won the competition. He won the cash prize of Rs 25 lakh.

Elvish Yadav, who entered the show as a wildcard after four weeks, managed to win everyone’s hearts. His presence on the show was such that he became everyone’s favourite in no time. Be it his one liners, humorous side or his takyakalam ‘System’, everything became a hit with the masses.
Elvish entered the show on a very aggressive note and Avinash Sachdev, Jiya Shankar and Falaq Naaz became his targets but he couldn’t hold back his soft side and audiences fell in love with his human side.
His friendship and loyalty for Abhishek also did not get unnoticed. He always kept Abhishek Malhan ahead of him whenever he was asked about who will lift the Bigg Boss OTT season 2 trophy.
The finale of Bigg Boss OTT 2 saw performances from the Top 5 contestants Manisha Rani, Pooja Bhatt, Bebika Dhurve and Elvish Yadav. Abhishek could not perform as he wasn’t keeping well. The family members of Bigg Boss finalists were also seen shaking a leg with Salman Khan on stage. Pooja Bhatt’s father Mahesh Bhatt was also present at the grand finale with parents of other finalists. The grand finale also saw the presence of the first evicted contestants like Falaq Naaz, Jiya Shankar,, Avinash Sachdev, Jad Hadid, Palak Purswani amongst others.
