A bowl of hot soup is all we need to fill us up with warmth and deliciousness. Soup is generally considered healthy but not all of them are. The most common tomato soup is usually filled with cream, which obviously cannot be called healthy. And without some cream, the soup goes back to being boring. We need a soup that offers both health and taste, and this is exactly what we found for you today. With the temperature still low to make us want something warm and comforting, this veg corn soup will make for the perfect dinner meal. 

Sweet corn soup is already our favourite. This recipe gives the regular sweet corn soup a whole new dimension with the addition of lots of veggies. You get a mash-up of colours, textures and flavours in a single bowl, not to mention, lots of nutrition as well. This soup is ideal for a weight loss diet too.

Is soup a good way to lose weight? 

It depends on the kind of soup you are having. Ideally, the soup should give you enough nutrition minus calories. Since this soup is low in carbs and high in protein, along with various other nutrients, it is perfect for dinner or any other meal for weight loss. Vegetables like carrots, broccoli, cabbage and cottage cheese give their immunity-boosting properties as well. And on top of it all, oats flour adds depth to the soup, making it extremely satiating. Dietitian Preeti Gupta shared the recipe for this soup on her Instagram handle and we just can’t wait to try it out. 

How To Make Veg Corn Soup I Veg Corn Soup Recipe For Weight Loss: 

It’s simple. Cut and boil vegetables like beans, cabbage, carrots and broccoli with boiled American corn. Then add 2 tsp oats flour in some water to make a slurry and add it to the vegetable and corn mixture. Season with salt and black pepper. When the veggies are done, add garlic crushed, paneer cubes and steamed broccoli. Serve hot.
