Firstlook of Samantha’s ‘Yashoda’ is out; the film promises to keep the audience on the edge of their seat – Times of India

The first glimpse of Samantha’s ‘Yashoda’ is out, in which Samantha Ruth Prabhu plays the titular character, the glimpse has a great background score supported by curious visuals. The film seems to be women-centric. As said by the makers it is a film of its kind in the science fiction thriller genre. According to the released video, Samantha, who; seems to be pregnant, is confined to a place which is not easily accessible.

The film is written and directed by Hari Shankar and Harish Naran. Tamil actress Varaxmi Sarath Kumar and Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan will play the roles of Madhubala and Gautham respectively.

The film will be released in Telugu along with its dubbed version in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada as a Pan-India film.

‘Yashoda’ has been produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, under his Sridevi movies. While Manisharma composed the music for this film with M.Sukumar handling the cinematography. The film is being edited by successful Tollywood editor Marthanda K Venkatesh.

Samantha who recently had the Tamil Telugu release of ‘Kathuvakulla Rendu Kaadhal’ will be next coming up with this. She also has yet another Pan-India film under the direction of Telugu director Gunasekhar titled ‘Shaakuntalam’. Besides Shiva Nirvana’s yet to be titled film with Vijay Deverakonda.
