Gujarat Street Vendor Introduces “Rainbow Panipuri” With Unique Ingredients
Panipuri is more than a street snack. It is an emotion. Let’s admit, the crispy puris filled with spicy and tangy flavours are hard to resist. It might not top the health charts, but the joy it brings makes it a guilty pleasure worth indulging in. Meanwhile, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, a street vendor is offering a unique twist to the beloved panipuri. In a video on Instagram posted by @wander_eater_, we see her selling “rainbow panipuris” in varying shades of black, pink, and yellow. What’s fascinating is the claim that these colourful delights are made from Indian blackberries, beetroot, and haldi, each contributing its distinct flavour.

In the video, the vendor claimed that she does not use artificial colouring in her rainbow panipuris, and only uses spinach and mint puree for the panipuri water. The rainbow panipuri stall is available on Saturdays and Sundays, from 4 to 8 pm at New Ranip, Sardar Chowk, Ahmedabad. You get a plateful of seven of these rainbow panipuris for just Rs 20. Now, that’s a tasty and colourful weekend treat!
