VARANASI: Civil judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar, who ordered a survey in the Gyanvapi mosque case, received a threat letter from an organisation called ‘Islamic Aghaz Movement’ on Tuesday. The Gyanvapi case was transferred by the SC to the district judge court of Varanasi on May 20.
Varanasi police commissioner A Satish Ganesh said security of the civil judge in Varanasi and his mother in Lucknow, which had already been enhanced since May 13, is being reviewed. Security has also been provided to the district judge, he said.
