Manjima Mohan made a grand debut in Tamil cinema with director Gautham Menon’s Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada. She was last seen in Gautham Karthik’s Devarattam, which released in 2019. The actress is now awaiting the release of her upcoming film, Tughlaq Durbar.

On July 8, the makers of Tughlaq Durbar released the first-look poster featuring Vijay Sethupathi. Manjima took to Instagram and shared a BTS (behind-the-seen) still from the sets of Tughlaq Durbar and recalled how nervous she was on the first day of shoot.

When the film’s shooting began, Manjima was recuperating from a leg surgery, which made her nervous on the set. In a long post on Instagram, she said that she was doubtful as she was limping when the shooting of Tughlaq Durbar commenced.

It was director Delhiprasad Deenadayal who gave her the confidence to approach the scene. Manjima further added that the director motivated her to play her role with confidence.

Tughlaq Durbar is a political thriller starring Vijay Sethupathi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Manjima Mohan and Parthiban in important roles. The team has completed 50 per cent of the shoot and is waiting to resume the shoot after the Tamil Nadu government permits shooting.

Tughlaq Durbar is produced by Lalit Kumar under his home banner, Seven Screen Studio. The technical crew of comprises of composer Govind Vasantha and cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa.
