Pallavi Joshi rubbishes rumours about ‘The Kashmir Files’ featuring fictional content – Times of India
Speaking at a press conference in Lucknow, the actress stated, “We went across the world, USA, UK, Germany, Singapore, Jammu and Kashmir, Pune, Thailand, Delhi, wherever we could find the first family of the victim, whose father was murdered, whose mother was raped, the children who saw their parents being murdered in front of their eyes.. We have met those people. We shot their long format video interviews and we have those videos that too will bring in front of people… So if there’s anybody who is accusing me that I have something wrong in the film, then you can come and see all the 4,000 hours of research that we have on our videos.”
While in Uttar Pradesh, the team of ‘The Kashmir Files’ met Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Post the meeting, Yogi Adityanath had tweeted, “The film #TheKashmirFiles boldly exposes the inhuman horror of religious bigotry and terrorism. Undoubtedly, this film will work to make the society and the country aware. Congratulations to the entire team for producing such a thought-provoking film.” ‘The Kashmir Files’ released on March 11 and has minted around Rs 160 crore till now.
