NEW DELHI: Rishabh Pant, who is recovering from multiple injuries, on Friday met his Delhi Capitals teammates in Bengaluru and wished them luck for the upcoming Indian Premier League match.
The star wicketkeeper-batter Pant suffered multiple injuries when his car collided with a divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway last December. Pant, who led the Delhi side in the last season, was ruled out of this season due to the injuries.
Pant was visiting the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru as part of his recovery process, and since his team was there in the city he made time to visit the training session.

When asked about his recovery, Pant said, “I am good. Recovering really well, better than what I have thought. Getting better everyday.”
Pant caught up with his teammates on the sidelines of the training session at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium ahead of their IPL match against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
“I just came for the NCA [National Cricket Academy] and the Delhi Capitals happened to be here. So I thought I would meet my friends. Just came to see the practice. I really love to be around the boys and I miss that thing, especially.

“But this is something I can’t control, but my heart and soul are always with the Delhi Capitals. So, all the best for their next match,” Pant added.
Delhi Capitals have a forgettable campaign so far in the tournament, losing four games on the trot. David Warner-led DC play hosts RCB on Saturday.
