South Africa vs Australia live score 3rd Test Day 3 from Cape Town
18:52 IST:
Positive approach puts Australia in front – At 58/2, Australia were nervously peeking through their fingers, and then Green and Renshaw showed up and tidied the mess. Both rode their luck early, though, with Green’s edge dying just short of second slip and Renshaw getting a reprieve from an umpire’s call, but neither wasted the second life. Boundaries arrived in bunches, and a fifty apiece followed, with the deficit getting nibbled away in brisk little bites. Both batters dealt with the short-ball ploy watchfully, keeping their hands out of harm’s way. Mulder and Harmer bowled a few maidens in tandem, with Harmer managing to extract a bit of turn, but neither could build enough pressure to cause any real discomfort.
